Inflexyon& Marché de la mode vintage
Par Nicoleta, jeudi 9 juin 2011 à 10:29 :: General
The word vintage comes from an exceptional wine. So to name a garment “vintage” is to define a “grand cru de la haute couture”.
To be worthy it has to:
- Be at least 20 years of age
- Be representative of the designer’s own style
- Be in its original state with no alterations
- Represent a period in fashion
This year, the Vintage market is held on the weekend of June 11 and 12 with an entrance fee of 3€ with a free collector shopping bag offered to the first 15000 people. Under 15 years old enter for free.
Location: The Fashion Vintage Market takes place on old site of the « marché de gros » (mass market). Enter at the intersection of Rue Vuillerme and cours Charlemagne, a 12 minutes walk from Perrache.
