The city is organizing the first edition of “Lumière 2009” and receiving Clint Eastwood as a guest-star. He will present the complete work of Sergio Leone. The festival will take place in many places of Lyon, 38 cinemas will participate at the retrospective which major theme is the History of the cinema. During this week it is the best moment to discover a whole set of pieces of art jazzed up for the event. The opening and the closing of the ceremony will take place at the Hall Tony Garnier.

La ciudad de los hermanos Lumière organiza su primera edición del festival “Lumière 2009”. Clint Eastwood es el invitado de honor y presentara una retrospectiva integral de la obra de Sergio Leone. Otra originalidad es que no se concentra en un solo lugar prestigioso pero se extenderá en 38 sitios de la cuidad con mas de 250 protecciones cuyo tema principal es la Historia del cinema. Esta semana especial es la ocasión de descubrir un conjunto de obras del pasado con copias nuevas o restauradas. Por fin, la ceremonia de apertura y de cerrada se pasaran en la Hall Tony Garnier.
