A first hand out of the Petit Paumé took place on Saturday October 10 at Place Bellecour. More than 60 000 guides were released. 26 members of the association and around 20 voluntaries carried out the action. The association of the Petit Paumé creates and hands out this free and limited critic guide of Lyon. For that, the students of EM Lyon ( a famous business school) members of the association test all the restaurants, bars and shops of the city. The annual launching of the guide has become a major event, expected by the residents who rush every year to catch the new version of the Petit Paumé. Each year around 140,000 people are expected. This guide has become in forty years a real institution and the weekends of the launching are folkloric parties.

A second hand out session will take place on Saturday October 17 at Part Dieu in the morning, starting at 10 :00.

The night of the Petit Paumé 2009 will take place on October 16 at the Double Mixte. A festive program with various artists from rock music to electronic beats.
