Each year the city of Annecy organizes one of the most spectacular fireworks in Europe. Taking advantage of its marvellous position, the firework show sparkles in the sky and in the water. The party dates back to 1860 when the city was receiving the Emperor Napoleon the 3rd and the Empress Eugenie that summer 1860 to celebrate the unification of the Savoie region to France.
Nowadays, the lake fireworks festival is one of the best and longest show in Europe. A different theme is presented each year. This year, on Saturday 8 August, people will be transported into the wonderful trip of the explorer Marco Polo.

Marco polo’s trip lasted 24 years, he left from Venice, then crossed Turkey Mesopotamia, Iran, to get to Central Asia, the desert of Gobi and finally China. The pyrotechnist Panzera will recreate Marco polo’s trip thought out pyrotechnics images and pictures projected on huge water screens.
Inflexyon has organized an excursion to Annecy this Saturday, 8 August.
