Mother’s Day is celebrated each year in France and in many countries of the world. It is an occasion in which children and adults honour their mothers and give them gifts. This feast, which dates back to the age of the ancient Greece, was made official in France by a law of 1950. In accordance with that law, it is commemorated on the last Sunday of May, except if it is Whit Sunday. That is why this year it is celebrated on June 7th.
Nevertheless, this date is not universal, because it changes according to the country.
The French school Inflexyon wishes all mothers a happy day!
