Pentecôte est une fête juive et chrétienne célébrée cinquante jours après Pâques. Selon la tradition chrétienne, elle commémore la descente de l’Esprit Saint sur les apôtres sous forme de langues de feu.

Cette année Pentecôte sera le premier juin et, comme dans d’autres pays européens, ce sera un jour férié en France. La majorité des Français en profiteront pour partir en week-end, mais l’école de français Inflexyon restera ouverte pour accueillir ses nouveaux étudiants et commencer la session du mois de juin.

Pentecost is a Jewish and Christian feast celebrated fifty days after Easter. According to Christian tradition, it commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles under the form of tongues of fire.
