Each 8th December, people from Lyon illuminate their Windows in Virgin honour and walk throughout a city full of lights and original spectacles that have place in each neighbourhood.

This illumination its a tradition of the city and every year thousand of visitors came to visit it.

En parallel to the traditional and religious party, the spectacular illumination takes place years ago in the “festival of lights” which has became “Party of the lights”. This party involves the city for 4 days, until the 8th December. The Illumination Plan makes scenery all around the city, illuminating the principal monuments and places and it has became in France and abroad.
