From middle October to middle November 2008.
Inflexyon proposes to visit the Party of the Chestnuts or " vogue aux marrons ", a Lyon’s great party. The word «vogue» means in ancient Lyon’s language “abundance” and “affluence” and it is used in « Rhône-Alpes » region to designate saint holidays. It was born 150 years before and it is the latest survival of the foreign traditions at Lyon. Every year is installed at the Croix-Rousse Tray, from the middle of October to middle November, and it is the latest party of the year. There can be tasted the first chestnuts and the first white wine of the year. Its name came from that tradition. People from Lyon go there to enjoy the numerous attractions that are shown there but also for the gofres, party biscuits with form of gendarme hat.
