The fifht edition of the Nuits sonores Festival will be held in Lyon from May 15th to May 20th 2007. The Warm-up (pre-festival) will set from Thursday, May 10th to Monday, May 14th 2007. As every year, the festival will investigate about fifty places in the city : concert halls, clubs, bars, galleries, cinemas, museums or emblematic places of the architectural capital of Lyon.

For this new edition, Nuits sonores has once again shuffled et renewed the majority of its reception places : new main site, new place of inauguration, new park for the Siestes, new phases of Circuit électronique, new reception sites for the Parcours associé, Images sonores or the Concert spécial… Nuits sonores pursues its urban exploration of the city and maintains its priorities : an inflexible and opened line-up and an effervescent mobility in the whole city.

This year, we shall so pass by Les Subsistances, the Light Institute, the Citroën Garage, ELAC’s gardens, the Georges Bazin park, the Trinity’s Chapel, the Terreaux’s Gallery, the Duchère Swimming-pool but also by most of the clubs and concert halls of the city (« Ninkasi », « Marché Gare », « Plateforme », « Marquise »…)

As from now on each year, many programmings will be directly also suggested in the urban space, in the streets and on the city’s places : place Antonin Justand, place of the Esplanade or traditionals streets of the Arbre Sec, of Platière and Royale.
