クリスマスシーズン、必ずマーケットに並ぶチョコレート菓子パピヨット-la papillote。
金銀の包み紙の中のチョコレートはもちろん、一緒にくるまれているユーモア溢れる言葉遊びやなぞなぞ、ウィットに富んだことわざを楽しむのも、パピヨットの醍醐味のひとつ。
このチョコレート菓子パピヨットは、何を隠そうリヨン生まれ。

１７９０年頃、リヨンのとある製菓店での物語。
チョコレート菓子のストックがたびたび減っている事に気づいたオーナーのムッシューパピヨット。
こっそり見張っていると、見習い職人がお店のチョコレートをくすねているのを発見！しかも愛しの女性に想いを伝えるためのラブレターをチョコレートの包み紙に忍ばせていた。
その後、オーナーにみつかった見習いは追い出されたものの、ラブレターと一緒にくるまれたチョコレートのアイデアは、オーナーに気に入られ商品化。お菓子は、ムッシューの名前に因んで、パピヨットと命名！
オーナーのパピヨット氏、アンフレクションも位置するリヨン１区のテロー界隈、バダルジョン通り-Rue du Bât d'Argentにお店を構えていたそう。

クリスマス前から新年を祝うシーズンにかけて、フランス家庭に並べられるチョコレート-la papilloteは、リヨン人だけでなく、フランス人の大好物です。

リヨンで生まれたジャック・ステラの豊かで多様性溢れる作品中、絵画・デッサン・彫刻計１６０品を公開。
偉業をなした画家の見事な創作力に漲ったコレクションはリヨン美術館にて御覧いただけます。

If you want to register for the premier cycle or first stage of undergraduate studies in France and you do not have the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française, or advanced diploma in French language), you must take the specific TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français, or French competency test) called the "TCF pour la DAP" or TCF for DAP (Demande d’Admission Préalable, or preliminary admission application).

TCF for DAP examination sessions for applicants to the premier cycle, or first stage of university studies, and to schools of architecture for the 2007 academic year open in October 2006 and close on 26 February 2007. The closing date cannot be extended.

Please note: The dates of TCF for DAP examination sessions vary in each country. Some countries only hold one TCF for DAP examination session (generally in January or February), while others organise a number of sessions (e.g. Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Vietnam).

It is up to you to find out the dates of the examination session(s) to be held in your country, as soon as possible.

Please note: If you do not find out the relevant information or do not take the examinations soon enough, you will not be able to take the TCF for DAP.

If you are not in France, you must contact the SCAC (Services de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle, or department for cooperation and cultural affairs) of the French embassy in your country. Once you have registered, you will take your TCF for DAP at the institution indicated by the French embassy (Institut Français, Alliance Française, Centre Culturel Français, university, etc.).

If you are in France, you will take your TCF for DAP at the university or school of architecture to which you are applying. These universities and schools will hold TCF for DAP examination sessions between 16 and 26 February 2007 only. After this date, you will not be able to take the TCF for DAP for the 2007/2008 academic year.

ノエルの冬休みシーズンにフランス国外旅行をご予定の留学生の方。フランスにおける滞在身分について調べておきましょう。

フランス滞在許可証を初回申請中で、とりわけ受領書-Le récépisséを取得していない（申請手続きの予約日時と必要書類が記載された用紙のみ所持）方は、旅行出発前にフランス出国と再入国の可否を確認して下さい。

またフランス国外での滞在中に、フランス滞在許可証の有効期限が切れる場合、滞在国のフランス領事館にて帰国ビザ-Le visa de retourを申請する事が定められています。

No classes to let our students discover french traditions for christmas : On the 24th, french children put their shoes in front of the fireplace, in the hopes that Papa Noël will fill them with gifts, candy, fruit, nuts.
Although fewer and fewer French attend la Messe de Minuit on Christmas Eve, it is still an important part of Christmas for many families. It is followed by a huge feast, called le Réveillon (from the verb réveiller, to wake up or revive). Le Réveillon is a symbolic awakening to the meaning of Christ's birth and is the culinary high point of the season.Each region in France has its own traditional Christmas menu, with dishes like turkey, capon, goose, chicken etc.
Another important aspect of French Christmas celebrations with the christmas tree is the "crèche" filled with santons, which is displayed in churches and many homes.

L'ouverture des sessions du TCF pour la DAP: à partir du mois d’octobre 2006 jusqu'au 26 février 2007.
si vous vous renseignez ou vous présentez trop tard, il ne vous sera plus possible de passer le TCF pour la DAP.
Vous passerez votre TCF pour la DAP directement dans l’université ou l’école d’architecture de votre choix. Ces établissements organiseront des sessions du TCF pour la DAP entre le 16 et le 26 février 2007 exclusivement. Après cette date, vous ne pourrez plus vous présenter au TCF pour la DAP pour l’année universitaire 2007/2008.

リヨンのペーラーシュ駅前、カルノ広場-place carnot にて、毎年恒例のマルシェ・ドゥ・ノエル-Marché de Noël が１２月２４日まで催されています。
クリスマス市の起源は１４世紀に遡り、"Marché de Saint Nicolas"の呼称に由来し、１６世紀になって現在の"Marché de Noël"がドイツ・アルザス地方に発祥したとされています。
クリスマスにちなんだ装飾品やおもちゃ、カラフルでかわいいお菓子のスタンドで賑わう広場を、ヴァンショ-vin chaud（シナモンやフルーツなどのフレーバーを加え温かくして飲む赤ワイン）片手に散歩すれば、サンタクロースにも出会えます！

Lyon's Christmas Market, held at the leafy place Carnot, draws the best of French gastronomy, arts and crafts from the Rhône-Alpes region. The colourful chalets are accompanied by a lively programme of events, including entertainers, a puppet theatre The chalets, painted in vivid colours, host over 100 exhibitors.

Many workshops offer french traditionnal home made food. Foreigners students in lyon will be enchanted to discover french culture through this magical market.

Saint-Nizier　サン-ニジエ教会でのスペクタクル。
凛々しく佇むサン-ニジエ教会、荘厳な音楽とダイナミックなライティングをまとい、過去の歴史を語るという設定。
この日はリヨン交通機関のストライキに加えて、あいにくの悪天候だったのに..... ２２時をまわった頃、雨はすっかりあがりオリオン座がはっきり見えるほどの星空に。Merci Marie !

This year the magical "Fête des Lumières" Festival will allow the entire population to continue a tradition dating back more than 150 years : participate in a giant street theater using candles.
The courtyards of the City Hall will be open to all. You can meander from the place de la Comédie to the place des Terreaux….you will be enchanted. The fountain, statues, dome and facades are arrayed in almost supernatural colours, echoing the muses of the Opera, themselves poetically draped in light.

In the Place des Terreaux, let yourself be carried away on the waves of light from these unusual screens. Do you like playing with language, solving riddles? It's your turn to play! Each light sequence invites you to juggle with language in a spectacle halfway between poetry in lights and a one-arm bandit. This huge, dynamic light projection plays at constructing and reconstructing french language and literature.

リヨンの一大イベント、Fête des Lumières（フェット デ リュミエール）のシーズンがやってきました。
イベント開催時には、４００万人もの観光客を迎えるというリヨン市。

リヨンのトラムウェイはひとあし早く衣替えされ、リヨンの街全体がイルミネーションの美術館へと変身中です！

そして毎年恒例、テロー広場の豪華スペクタクル。今年のメインは、なんと１５のバルーンを浮かばせて地上約１０メートルでの空中スペクタクル！
タイトルは＜無重力＞。”言葉遊びやなぞなぞを楽しもう！”をテーマに、スクリーンにみたてたバルーンに光と文字が浮かび上がる設定。

リヨンを旅行中の方も、フランス留学でリヨンに滞在している方も、フルヴィエールの丘一帯に連なるキャンドルの灯火をぜひお見逃しなく。

La mise en scène de ses principaux édifices dévoile sept visages de la colline de Fourvière. Un chemin de lumière mystique monte jusqu’à la basilique, redevenue temple antique sacré.

Écoutez vibrer le cœur de l’Antiquaille médiéval. Au milieu des sons, partout l’histoire du site renaît de l’ombre envahie de symboles et de présages, l’obscurité se teinte de blanc, de rouges intenses, de feux et d’éclairs…

Pas à pas, « les Chemins de lumière » suggèrent par touche subtile 2 000 ans d’histoire… Puis, à l’image d’un nouveau printemps, la colline s’illumine peu à peu, comme pour nous guider vers de nouveaux chemins de lumière.

If you want to study and work in France, you can become an "au pair" which means that you will live in a french family and will work in return.Your work will consist on taking care of the children and eventually you will be asked to do some housework.
